Idaho Luxe

THE HOME

Welcome to Glengarry

Glengarry was created as a versatile retreat and designed for gathering and celebration. The entire property enables gracious entertaining, both casual and formal. The residence is sumptuous and wonderfully appointed and it’s resources are extensive. Those include two exercise spaces, a screening room, a speakeasy, and a wine cellar.

The completely landscaped grounds encompass over 1.7 acres and are flanked by the first and ninth fairways of the Highlands championship course, recently voted the best course in the Idaho Panhandle. The grounds include two ponds with large waterfalls, multiple terraces, and extensive plantings.

Nestled between the two fairways, Glengarry was designed and built as the personal residence of Robert Coles, who designed and developed the Highlands Golf and Country Club, the Highlands Park Estates community of luxury homes, and the Glengarry Estates gated enclave. This remarkable residence is Coles’ magnum opus, the pinnacle of his development and building career.

An Unrivaled Golf Course Residence

The Highlands Golf Course was designed by Jim Krause and built in 1991. The course features 6455 yards from the furthest tees, with five well-placed water features to increase the challenge of this beautiful course. It offers one of the finest practice facilities in the region, including a large pitching / chipping green, sand bunkers, fifty yards of chipping area, and a grass-tee driving range almost 400 yards in length. The grounds of Glengarry are flanked by the first and ninth fairways of the Highlands Course, extending the view beyond the edges of the property. And the residence is sited with elevated views of the grounds and the course beyond.
